understanding task for h/w

Lady Macbeth is portrayed as a very powerful character in these beginning scenes because in the two lines, That which hath made them drunk hath made me bold.
What hath quenched them hath given me fire, it is talking about the servants and guards that were given the alcohol to get them drunk has given her fire and it has made her bold. The audience sees her as more powerful than Macbeth which would be quite odd as Macbeth is a commander of the Scottish army and Lady Macbeth doesn’t really have a job that has been described in the text which brings up the question maybe she is working with the witches or she is their leader in a way.
